El «Pla Estiu» que anunció hace unos días el departamento de Salut ha sido la gota que ha hecho colmar el vaso. Ante las previsiones de no sustituir al personal sanitario en los centros de atención primaria y el cierre de quirófanos y de camas de hospitalización de julio a septiembre en los principales hospitales públicos de Catalunya –actuaciones que, según el departamento de Salut, se realizan cada año– , buena parte de los sindicatos del sector han vuelto a salir a la calle para denunciar lo que consideran una mala gestión por parte de la Conselleria y también para alertar a la ciudadanía de que se están llevando a cabo una nueva oleada de recortes en sanidad y que, desgraciadamente, los pacientes pronto sufrirán las consecuencias.
Según Cristian Monclús, secretario autonómico del sindicato SAE (sindicato de técnicos de enfermería de Cataluña), “en sanidad no debería recortarse, sino invertir; y nos encontramos con que están cerrando plantas, quirófanos y se dejan de atender necesidades… se trata de un plan general de recortes y eso no podemos permitirlo, porque afecta tanto a profesionales como a usuarios. (…) La gente sufrirá este verano”, dijo. En la misma línea se manifestó José Joaquín Durán, secretario de organización de SIETeSS (Sindicato estatal de Técnicos Superiores Sanitarios), quien consideró que “estamos pagando los platos rotos de una mala gestión sanitaria y de un Tercer Acuerdo infame, que va en contra de muchos profesionales –especialmente de los técnicos superiores sanitarios y de los técnicos de enfermería–; nosotros, de los 320 millones, obtuvimos el 0’18%… Seguimos esperando propuestas concretas y decentes, y sino en otoño volveremos a la carga”.
La concentración de CATAC-CTS (Candidatura Autónoma de Trabajadoras y Trabajadores de la Administración de Cataluña – Coordinadora de Trabajadores y Trabajadoras de la Sanidad) delante de la conselleria de Salud, que llevaba como lema “Basta de recortes en el ICS. Rescatemos la Sanidad Pública”, se hizo notar a pesar de la lluvia. Su delegado, Jesús Frías, apuntaba que “no creemos que sea una cuestión de presupuestos, sino que estamos convencidos de que es una apuesta de este Gobierno por la sanidad privada y en contra de la sanidad pública. Pensamos que se está produciendo un deterioro continuado de nuestra sanidad y de nuestras condiciones de trabajo; y venimos de la negociación de un Tercer Acuerdo que, para nosotros, fue una auténtica vergüenza y la propuesta del Plan de Salud 2026 de la conselleria es directamente la eliminación del ICS y del Servei Català de la Salut… tenemos clarísimo que es un ataque frontal de esta consejería contra la sanidad pública”.
Infermeres de Catalunya, SAE, Marea Blanca e Intersindical también acudieron a la convocatoria. El sindicato de enfermeras puso el foco en el cierre de trece centros de atención a las Infecciones de Transmisión Sexual (ITS) en la ciudad de Barcelona en un momento en el que las enfermedades de transmisión sexual están registrando cifras récord en la capital catalana. Elisabet Parés, portavoz de Infermeres de Catalunya concluyó que “este año estamos viendo una incapacidad total de gestión por parte del Govern, y nos vemos abocados a no tener suplentes en verano, al cierre de los centros de ITS en Barcelona… una vez más se nos explican muy ajustadamente las condiciones y nos las justifican con la prórroga presupuestaria, pero para nosotros esto son unos recortes más”.
«Menos corbatas y más batas«, «Mi salud no hace vacaciones» y «Sin enfermeras no hay sanidad» fueron algunos de los cánticos que se pudieron oír durante la concentración, casi simultánea, ante el Institut Català de la Salut, convocada por el sindicato de enfermería SATSE Catalunya. Su delegada en la Región sanitaria Metropolitana Sur, Pilar Juste, reconoció que el sector se siente “maltratado” por la Conselleria, y denunció que Cataluña está en la cola de Europa en cuanto al número de enfermeras por cada 1000 habitantes : “Queremos protestar por los injustos y peligrosos recortes, que afectarán a la salud de toda la población y a la de los profesionales, y que harán que se incrementen las listas de espera, la accesibilidad a los CAPs y a los centros hospitalarios”.
También Noemí Bosch, de Som Sanitat, con representación en Vall d’Hebron y Can Ruti, reconoció que “los profesionales estamos ya muy cansados, y esto finalmente repercute en el ciudadano y en el paciente, que es quien paga las consecuencias de toda esta mala gestión; dinero hay, lo que pasa es que se destina a otras cosas, y pensamos que no es justo, porque es quitar derechos a la ciudadanía.
Estas protestas se suman a las que se produjeron también en Terrassa (Barcelona) –el miércoles –, donde el comité de empresa de Mútua Terrassa y los profesionales de Urgencias se manifestaron por el cierre del área de Urgencias para pacientes con patologías respiratorias, creada a raíz de la cóvid-19; y también en Mataró, donde la Coordinadora en Defensa de la Sanidad Pública de Mataró y el Maresme hizo un llamamiento ciudadano para salvar el cierre del servicio de pediatría en el Hospital de Mataró durante los meses de verano.
La plataforma Marea Blanca de Catalunya se sumó a las protestas, “ante la alarmante situación de nuestro servicio nacional de salud, tanto en la atención primaria como en la hospitalaria, para este verano, generada por la gestión errática de los responsables de la sanidad pública catalana”.
El verano llega a Cataluña con un escenario sanitario bastante agitado, ya que todo indica que las jornadas de reivindicaciones de los trabajadores sanitarios sólo han hecho que empezar.
