Trescientos cincuenta personas, según la Guardia Urbana se concentraron anoche en la Plaça Sant Jaume como respuesta a un diciembre negro que ha batido récord de víctimas de violencia machista desde que hay registros.
“Ni una menos, ni una más” fue el lema de la concentración convocada por Ca la Dona y Novembre Feminista, a la que también se sumaron UGT y CCOO. Una concentración que culminó con un minuto de silencio en el que participaron la alcaldesa de Barcelona, Ada Colau y la teniente de alcalde de Derechos Sociales y Feminismos, Laura Pérez.
La consellera de Igualdad y Feminismos, Tània Verge, también asistió como miembro del Gobierno de la Generalitat y mostró su apoyo a las víctimas: “no estáis solas”. Además, recordó el teléfono de atención contra la violencia machista 900 900 120, operativo las 24h para acompañar a todas las víctimas y afirmó que se trata del «principal problema social y político del país».
Desde las entidades organizadoras, Dolo Pulido, miembro de Ca la Dona y Noviembre Feminista exigió a las administraciones que “pongan todos los recursos para ayudar a frenar los asesinatos masivos que vivimos las mujeres” y destacó la importancia de la prevención con el foco en la educación.
Por otra parte, los sindicatos llaman a «la autoorganización de las mujeres contra la complicidad de la sociedad y la permisividad contra los ataques y desprecio a las propuestas feministas que hacen que los agresores se sientan legitimados y las mujeres más vulnerables». Desde CCOO recuerdan que tienen implantadas las Portes Violetes, donde se pone al servicio de la ciudadanía los cuarenta locales que tienen disponibles como refugio para las víctimas.
Un diciembre negro con diecinueve víctimas
Diciembre ha sido un mes negro con récord de crímenes machistas desde que existen registros. Diecinueve mujeres han perdido la vida, víctimas de la violencia de género. En Catalunya han sido diecisiete las asesinadas durante el 2022 mientras que en todo el Estado han sido noventa y nueve, casi un 21% más que en el 2021 y más del 40% había interpuesto una denuncia previa contra el presunto agresor.
Uno de los hechos que más preocupa es el aumento de más del 70% de denuncias por violencia de género interpuestas a menores de edad y un aumento del 28% de las víctimas menores de edad.
